Easy-to-Understand Financial Insights

What do you like?

It provides all the tools to keep project costs and reports on track, user friendly.

What do you dislike?

Unable to create quotes for clients without having to create a work order first. We have to create the quotes on Word. I believe this was being looked at but not sure if its something that Jonas is working on.

What problems is it solving?

Keeping track of costs and purchase orders.

What do you like?

Ability to upload spreadsheets. There aren't many upsides, reporting is difficult, finance module does not work well, support is minimal and typically takes days, the support folks don't know the software.

What do you dislike?

Having to use spreadsheets because for a construction atmosphere the software is not very useful.

What problems is it solving?

No benefits. Many problems, locking up, very poor support.

What do you like?

Jonas is a great accounting package overall. It handles job costing, estimates, and payroll functions very well.

What do you dislike?

It can be somewhat of a cumbersome user interface, and does not have the greatest reporting features. We have had to build a lot of our own reports using their report generator integration, but this is hard to learn and takes a while to get where you would like it to be.

What problems is it solving?

We run our accounting and payroll functions through Jonas. Our biggest benefit is to have all of our info in one place.

Detailed General Ledger Tracking

What do you like?

It keeps track of subcontract and sub's change orders.

What do you dislike?

The system can't balance the cost side and revenue side automatically. So in many cases, you need to enter the entries twice. It doesn't link the change order to client with the relevant sub's change order(s).

What problems is it solving?

It generates client budget report and the report is updated every time a invoice is posted. It keeps track of the change orders. It gives reports of paid- to- date for a certain sub and many other reports.

What do you like?

It is super easily accessible and is very easy to use and navigate. The software is also very nice and well created. The surface of the app is also appealing and I enjoy using Jonas Enterprise Service and Construction Software.

What do you dislike?

I didn't like that it was kind of slow and laggy, as the software had many bugs and glitches that needed to be fixed. Other than that though, I think Jonas Enterprise Service and Construction Software was very good. I do think, however it could be made a little less laggy and sometimes during use, the software shuts off or exits out, making my team and I very, VERY annoyed.

What problems is it solving?

I can easily help my team organize and construct accounting services making day to day jobs very easy. It also helps with lots of things that were seemingly impossible before my team and I found the Jonas Enterprise Service and Construction Software. It is probably the best software out there, even with the things I listed as bad.

Reliable Performance and Speed

What do you like?

It has a lot of features/modules that are useful when used to their full potential. The cloud version is very smooth and updates are done automatically.

What do you dislike?

Glitchy 1-sided accounting entries, overcomplicated housekeeping procedures and set-up. Payroll rounding system generated issues. No adobe pro on the cloud.

What problems is it solving?

It assists with document management and organization, making audits and drilling into data a breeze.

What do you like?

Jonas is an all-inclusive accounting and project management software that meets all of our needs as a GC. It allows us all to work in one database all with the same numbers.

What do you dislike?

The commas in the progress billing lines.

What problems is it solving?

From an executive point of view, it is fantastic to get the Business Intelligence information easily from anywhere in the world. From an operations point of view, all the information is accessible from any place that has internet access, allowing for better transparency of numbers between the office and the field.

Ease of navigation, the jonas online learning tool

What do you dislike?

Really wish all of the different moduels were programmed the same. The newest update makes payroll entry more key stroke intensive. Case response times take weeks now.

What problems is it solving?

Hopefully an easier entering platform for Field Time. They key click vs just hitting tab or next is hurting this function. Hopefully crew entry modifications have been made for ease of entry. Fingers crossed on the improvement of Errors and crashing of Jonas.

What do you like?

Jonas helped our small-to-medium company track and centralize our data in an easy, comprehensive way. We were able to streamline many of our processes while still tracking all of our information in a way that makes sense.

What do you dislike?

It would be nice for Jonas to consider the time it takes to enter data into the software (i.e. limit the amount of clicking and make it possible to use just the keyboard).

What problems is it solving?

Jonas is helping EFP centralize our data from all departments in order to analyze and process it in a way that is beneficial to our company and our customers. We are able to review, process, track, and plan in one central database.
